I conducted an audio story during my sophomore year on a good friend of mine, Ryan Kairis. We sat down and talked about his journey to Augustana College and his potential to play baseball professionally after college.

Senior outfielder, Ryan Kairis, up to bat during a game at Swanson Brunner Stadium in Moline, Illinois. The center fielder has started all four years in his Augustana career. Within the past two seasons, Kairis has had the opportunity to be in contact with two professional baseball teams; the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburg Pirates. In this audio story, we walk through Kairis' journey from almost being a D1 athlete, to having to overcome a major setback, which led him to choosing Augustana, to now being a potential MLB prospect.
